S'more Love Wedding Favor

Here's another look at a project from Amber. This would be a great wedding favor, but also a great way to add a fun detail to any summer gathering...

We are in the midst of wedding season.... I've been to two, just in the last two weekends. I love all the details in a wedding, whether it's a casual event or a full blown formal affair. One thing I love in particular are favors for the guests.

I think wedding favors are such a sweet little way to thank guests for coming. These certainly aren't a substitute for a gift thank you, but they are a nice gesture to send your guests home with.

The idea for this favor wasn't originally mine -- don't you just love Pinterest! I saw this idea and thought I'd make it my own with some of the great products from CutCardStock.com.

I designed a simple tag using the computer; any word processing program or graphics program would work. After I printed them out on white cardstock, I traced over some of the text using a Signo gold pen.

I added some little details with red cardstock -- a hole reinforcer and a heart, both cut using punches. I adhered them to the tag and then added some more dimension with Glossy Accents.

For the smores, I added the components to a cello bag. There are 4 graham cracker halves, two large marshmallows and two sections from a Hershey's bar. It looks so yummy stacked up in that bag, doesn't it?

Finishing it off by simply tying the tag on with some baker's twine... that's it. Depending on the number of guests, this could be a simple tasks or a major production. But that's what friends and family are for, so recruit some help.

This treat would work great for many occasions, from a shower to a summer birthday party. Just make it your own with the details and have fun!
